"Well we are back, but none of us wanted to leave. Everything went as planned and we had a fantastic time. The Villa is amazing, but all your photographs can't do the view justice. Having made the exciting climb up the mountain road we parked and walked through the front door and straight out onto the pool patio. The view just takes your breath away and I can't tell you how many hours we simply sat there enjoying it. The staff were wonderful, Ruth, the cook prepared wonderful meals with lots of variety, Noel took care of our every need and Emma kept the place spotless. They were great and there were more than a few tears shed we came to say goodbye. "When my in-laws announced last Christmas that we were taking a family trip to Costa Rica, I was so excited! Well, the experience here did not let anyone down and in fact exceeded our expectations. First, the house/villa is so nice and very well maintained. The staff was wonderful. Thank you Noel, Demarius, and Lillith! Second, there was so much to do here. My husband and I drove down to Tamarindo for surf lessons; that was an adventure in itself. A canopy tour is a must - it is exhilerating to zip through the jungle. Sailing was great - the captain took us to a secluded beach that looked to be straight out of National Geographic. For fishermen, Costa Rica is great. In only a half day trip we landed 18 yellowfin, 2 sailfish, and 8 wahoo! Third, the country itself is friendly and easy to get around.
